This page will be regularly updated to provide the general public with ready access to information regarding Canterbury District Health Board waiting lists. The page gives information on waiting lists at Christchurch Hospital, Burwood, Ashburton and Christchurch Women's hospitals. From this page you will be able to find out more about the services provided by the hospitals. This site will be useful if you are waiting or have an appointment to visit the hospital or have a date booked for an operation. You can find out more about what you can do while you are waiting, to make sure that you are fit and ready for an appointment or operation. You can also find out what to do if your situation is getting worse while you are waiting.

The Canterbury District Health Board have implemented the Ministry of Health policy as reported by the Elective Services Performance Indicators (ESPIs) for all District Health Boards.
