Submissions are sought for In-Conference Workshops on topics of relevance to early intervention. All papers will be given consideration. There will be a prize for the best poster or presentation. Please submit an abstract based on these parameters:
Abstract submission information
Abstract submission should include the following:
- Title
- Name of presenters and affiliations
- Contact details, including telephone, fax, email, postal address
- Audio-visual requirements
The abstract should be not more than 250 words, double-spaced, in Times New Roman, 12pt and preferably in Microsoft Word Format. Abstracts should include a) background, b) results c) implications for Early intervention for psychosis

Submissions are sought for Poster presentations on topics of relevance to clinical psychologists. A 1-hour session (across all streams) will be dedicated to Poster presentations. All members are invited to present a poster for this intensive dissemination of information, and all posters will be given consideration. There will be a prize for the best poster or presentation.
There are very few limits on the kind of information that can be presented on a Poster. For example:
- A review of a topic such as –
- your own view of a particular problem
- a particular intervention approach that works well for you
- a service provision issue
- a favourite hobbyhorse!
- A case study –
- a difficult case and its outcome
- the story of a particularly interesting case
- a case with differential diagnosis problems
- a single case design intervention, with pre and post measures
(data may be quantitative or qualitative)
- Presentation of group data (data may be quantitative or qualitative) –
- an analysis of the frequency of particular problems you treat
- a group intervention with pre and post measures
- an analysis of pre and post measures taken with a number of individual clients with a particular disorder
- a formal research program
Please submit an abstract based on these parameters:

The abstract should be not more than 150 words, double-spaced, in Times New Roman, 12pt and preferably in Microsoft Word Format. The abstract should include a general overview of the topic and the main points and/or conclusions to be made.

Any handouts for Free paper persentations or Poster audience to be organised by presenters.
Presentations (Free papers and Posters) that are supplied in electronic version (final format) by presenters, before March 2005, will be available on the NZ EIP website following the Training Forum. All free paper and poster presenters are required to pay Training Forum Registration fees.
