The Christchurch Hospital Dental Service has relocated to the Christchurch Hospital campus due to the previous facility being badly damaged in the February 2011 earthquake. Most clinics are held at our new Oral Health Centre (2 Riccarton Avenue) or in our Oral & Maxillofacial Service located on the 5th floor, Riverside, Christchurch Hospital. A few clinics remain at Burwood Hospital and Hillmorton Community Dental Clinic.
The service provides specialist care to people from within the Canterbury Region and is also a tertiary referral centre for the West Coast and Nelson Marlborough regions.

The Hospital Dental Service 'relief of pain' clinic is run at the new Oral Health Centre, Christchurch Hospital, 2 Riccarton Avenue.
Hospital 'relief of pain' dental services for low-income adults who receive a full WINZ benefit are limited to:
