• HIV / HCV viral load separation kits will no longer be issued. 2mL screwcap tubes are available for sending separated plasma for HIV, HCV and HBV viral load tests. Separated plasma can be pipetted into these tubes using clean plastic transfer pipettes which most labs already have. 2mL screwcap tubes are available from the lab on request from Customer Liaison at CH Labs ext. 80484. (September 2008)
• Just a reminder that changes to Hepatitis and HIV testing come into effect on Monday (25 August). These were conveyed to you in July via the newsletter below. (August 2008)
• Please note that there are supply difficulties with Acetylcholine Receptor antibody kits. We are trying to resolve the problems with the distributor and as soon as the kits arrive, we will perform the assays. (July 2008)
