Poor correlation between methodologies offered by different laboratories. Use of consistent Laboratory Service vs CoaguChek S is essential.
Correlations between capillary whole blood and venous plasma samples on CoaguChek S have proved not to be linear above 3.0. Please refer to the Haemostasis Laboratory (ext. 80374) for more information. (This inconsistency has been resolved in the CoaguChek XS meter).
QC
Paediatric home users checked annually at the time of meter checking by Roche.
An electronic dual level QC check and liquid QC are analysed at the same time. Records are available for inspection. Contact the POCT Coordinator.
