ALL CLASSES ARE FREE OF CHARGE
For women who
are less than 18 weeks pregnant at the start of the class.
Partner or support person is also welcome.
This class is held on a Tuesday, 7:30pm-9:30pm or as arranged with pregnancy
& parenting educator.

Physical and emotional changes in early pregnancy
Choices for maternity care
Tests and examinations for pregnancy
Physical and emotional health
This
course consists of 6 evening classes held on Wednesday or Thursday, 7:30pm-9:30pm.
A partner or support person is welcome to attend after the first class.
An optional Women Only class is available at a later date for breastfeeding
and revision.

3 classes held on Friday, 10.00 -11:30 am for women only.
A class usually for women who have had a baby before.

Maximum Class Size:
12 pregnant women. Bookings essential.

The Patient Advocate can give you information on your rights and assist you to resolve difficulties that you have with the care and treatment you received. The service can be contacted by patients, ex-patients, family/whanau or friends. The Patient Advocacy Trust is independant of the management and funders of the hospital.
